1. Information We Collect

DriveSmartQuotes helps you request auto insurance or auto warranty information from third-party providers. Depending on your request, we collect:

  • Identifiers and contact details: name, email, phone number, ZIP code, date of birth.
  • Vehicle information: year, make, model, mileage, ownership status.
  • Insurance and driving details: current insurer and policy expiration, coverage type, number of vehicles and drivers, vehicle use, accident/ticket/DUI history, marital and homeowner status.
  • Warranty details: current warranty status, repair needs, coverage interest.
  • Consent records: the consent you gave, timestamp, and page where you gave it.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referrer and marketing parameters (such as UTM tags).

2. How We Collect It

We collect information directly from you when you complete a form or contact us, automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site, and from marketing and analytics partners that help us measure our advertising. ActiveProspect TrustedForm may collect certificate details to document lead source and consent.

3. How We Use It

  • To connect you with providers and their partners so they can contact you about your request.
  • To contact you by phone, text and email, as you have consented.
  • To associate IP addresses with submissions, operate and secure the Site, and prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To measure and personalize advertising and marketing.
  • To keep consent records and comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share It

We share the information you submit with insurance providers, warranty providers and administrators, lead networks and marketing partners that may contact you. We also share information with service providers that support our operations (hosting, analytics, communications, fraud prevention), and when required by law or to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer.

Our sharing with partners may be a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some state laws. You can opt out at any time using the form in Section 7. Once a partner has received your information, its own privacy policy governs how it uses it.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Essential storage supports core Site functions. Google Analytics loads only if you allow analytics, and Meta Pixel loads only if you allow marketing in Cookie settings. You can change these choices at any time using Cookie settings in the Site footer. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by law. You can also opt out of interest-based ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative tools.

6. Your Choices

  • Marketing calls and texts: reply STOP to any text, call +1 (307) 785-1466, or email support@drivesmartquotes.com.
  • Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • Sale/sharing: email support@drivesmartquotes.com or call +1 (307) 785-1466.
  • Providers: contact a provider directly to stop its communications.

7. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas, and some other states, may have these rights, subject to exceptions:

  • to know and access the personal information we collect, use and disclose;
  • to correct inaccurate information and to delete information;
  • to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising;
  • to limit use of sensitive personal information (California);
  • to appeal a denial of your request (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas) and to non-discrimination for exercising rights.

Over the past 12 months we have collected the categories listed in Section 1 and disclosed identifiers, vehicle, insurance and driving details, and internet activity to providers and marketing partners for business and commercial purposes, which may constitute a sale or sharing. We do not knowingly sell or share the information of consumers under 16.

To exercise your rights, email support@drivesmartquotes.com or call +1 (307) 785-1466. We will verify your request using information you provide. You may use an authorized agent with written permission.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain consent records, and to meet legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party sites and providers. We do not control their privacy practices; review their policies before sharing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. See also our Terms & Conditions.
